Alaska Farms Cares: Supporting Breast Cancer Awareness
At Alaska Farms, caring for our community is at the heart of what we do. This October, we’re proud to stand in solidarity with survivors, honor the memories of those we’ve lost, and support ongoing efforts to end breast cancer for everyone.
Breast cancer has touched the lives of many within our community, including friends, family, and team members. It’s a cause that’s deeply personal to us and one we hold close to our hearts.
Throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Alaska Farms is highlighting local and national initiatives making a difference, including:
Making Strides of Orlando, a community walk at Lake Eola uniting people across the nation to fund lifesaving research and support services.
Susan G. Komen Foundation, leading the fight to save lives and advance groundbreaking research, with donations quadrupled this month by Bank of America.
NBCF HOPE Kit™, care packages that bring comfort and encouragement to women currently undergoing treatment.

Making Strides is a powerful movement uniting communities to end breast cancer for everyone. Making Strides is the nation’s largest and most impactful breast cancer fundraiser walk, this one being held at Lake Eola on October 25th
